ECSU VOLLEYBALL TO HOST TROJANS FOR SENIOR DAY

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. -- With the season winding down, the Elizabeth City State University volleyball team is set to host Virginia State University for its Senior Day and home finale Friday, November 11, at R. L. Vaughan Center.

Prior to the contest, the Lady Vikings will honor outside hitter Asia Livingston and defensive specialist Kayley Surrento for their hard-work and dedication to ECSU and the team.

Elizabeth City State enters Friday's contest with an 1-14 conference record and is 1-19 overall on the season; while VSU holds an 17-9 overall record and sets at 11-4 in conference play.

Although the Lady Vikings have struggled throughout the season, they are looking to finish the season strong behind their leader and outside hitter Auzheure Jackson. She's rank No. 15 in the conference in kills per set with 2.15; while recording 129 kills over the season.

Outside hitter Mattelyn Bond averages 2.20 digs per set; while Jackson also leads the team with .32 blocks per set.

Virginia State is led by Tiara Ramey in kills with 204 and in kills per set with 2.32.
