LADY VIKINGS TO FACE CHOWAN IN CIAA SEMIFINAL AT 7:00PM SATURDAY

ECSU Goes 2-1 on Friday; Look To Rebound Versus Top Seeded Lady Hawks

	Ashley Tarasoff and the Lady Vikings will take the floor against Chowan University at 7:00pm in the semifinals of the 2009 CIAA Tournament.

HAMPTON, VA- The Elizabeth City State Lady Viking volleyball team went 2-1 in day one's action at the 2009 CIAA Volleyball Tournament Friday at the Boo Williams Sportsplex.

ECSU swept Shaw University (25-9, 25-13, 25-17) and Bowie State (25-12, 25-16, 25-14) before faltering in the final match of the day against Fayetteville State (22-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-16). Now the Lady Vikings will face the Western Division Champs from Chowan University at 7:00pm on Saturday. Chowan was the only CIAA squad to defeat ECSU in the regular season.
