Final Stats

HAMPTON, VA- Chowan University swept the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings 25-23, 25-21, 27-25 in semifinal action Saturday evening at the Boo Williams Sportsplex.

ECSU, who won the Eastern Division for the third straight year, ends their season at 22-16 overall. Lia Scott led the Lady Vikings with a team high 8 kills.

CIAA Rookie of the Year Karina Monroe topped all players with 20 kills while teammates Victoria Lewis and Desaray Turner each chipped in with 12 kills apiece. As a team the Hawks (28-8) had 52- kills to 35 for ECSU.
