ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Eva Johnson tallied 15 kills and 10 digs as the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings swept Virginia State University (25-12, 25-15, 25-19) Tuesday evening at the RL Vaughan Center.

ECSU's victory snaps Virginia State's five-match win streak as the Lady Vikings remain undefeated in the CIAA Eastern Division. Lia Scott was the only other player to register double digits in kills with 10.

As a team ECSU nearly doubled up the Lady Trojans (7-12, CIAA 5-8) defensively in digs 45 to 28. Ariel Williams paced VSU with a team high 8 kills.

The Lady Vikings (17-11) will hit the road Thursday to take on Mount Olive College. Game time is scheduled for 7:00pm. For more information on ECSU Athletics, visit www.ecsuvikings.com.
