ELIZABETH CITY, NC- North Carolina Central University's Stacey Greene struck out seven and allowed four hits in a 5-0 shutout of Elizabeth City State University Sunday afternoon.

With the win the Lady Eagles, the defending CIAA Champions, improve to 17-8 overall and a perfect 9-0 in CIAA play. The Lady Vikings slip to 4-9 and 4-3 in the CIAA.

The Lady Vikings tied a season high with 5 errors. They also stranded 6 runners in the one-point loss. The Lady Eagles scored their 5 run on 4 hits with one coming in the second inning, three in the third and one in their final a bat.
