ECSU Women’s Bowling Set to Compete in CIAA III Round-up

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The Elizabeth City State University women’s bowling team is set to compete in the 2017 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Southern division Round-up March 10-12 in Charlotte, N.C.

ECSU enters this weekend’s competition with a 9-12 overall record and is 0-12 in conference action.

Jana Boyd spearheads the Lady Viking throughout each tournament averaging a 189 per match. Elizabeth City State has competed in three competitions thus far this season and has improved in each of them.

During ECSU’s last competition, the Lady Vikings tallied a total pin count of 5697 in the team match-up and in the bakers match ECSU recorded 2979 total pins. In the previous CIAA Round-up, the Lady Vikings tallied a total pin count of 8676 with a record of 5-10 for the event; finishing seventh overall.
