Paneisha Eure
Head Coach

Paneisha “Penny” Eure rejoined our Viking family in July 2017 as head woman’s bowling coach.

Eure graduated from the illustrious university in 2014 with a BA in Communication Studies. Upon graduation she moved to Atlanta, Ga to pursue her masters and find a career opportunity.

While there she became a Front End Lead at Best Buy in Alpharetta, GA. After living there for three and half years, the opportunity came open for the head coach position; she applied and now enjoys the position more than ever.

“Coming from a student-athlete to head coach is such an honor," Eure said. “I will be sure to make sure my girls understand that it is all about scholarship, having fun, and being the best they can be in life”.

This is Eure’s first career move as a head coach. She has many accolades to help accommodate her in being named for the position. While at ECSU, Eure was apart of the Lady Vikings bowling team from the years 2010-2014.

Within her career, she was named Female Athlete of the year in 2013, MVP for the CIAA in 2013, two times ALL-CIAA, received the Addie Griffin SAAC Achievement Award for academic and scholastic achievement, Athletic Director’s Academic Award in 2012 and many more individual awards for multiple tournaments.

Portsmouth native was heavily involved in the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisor Committee) as acting president to make sure student athlete’s voices were heard.

Penny completed her Masters Degree at Walden University with a M.A. in Communications. As excited as she is, there are a little bit of nerves to make sure the season goes perfect. Eure is up for the challenge this year to see how much she will get accomplished and ready to lead the team to on.
