ECSU GOLF FINISHES FIFTH AT EASTERN DIVISION TOURNAMENT

Boothe Places 14th Overall at Two-Day Event in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia

MANAKIN-SABOT, VA- The Elizabeth City State University golf team placed fifth overall at the 2007 Eastern Division Tournament March 27-28th at Sycamore Creek Golf Course.

The Vikings finished with a two-day total of 717. Fayetteville State University topped the field with a two day total of 576. They were followed by Virginia State (631), Saint Augustine's (637), Johnson C. Smith (716), ECSU, North Carolina Central (795) Virginia Union (867) and Saint Paul's (884).

For the 70 par course, Fayetteville State took five of the top seven spots. For the Vikings, Dustin Boothe ranked the highest at 14th overall.
