April 7, 2017

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. -- After embarking on nearly two weeks of spring camp, the Elizabeth City State University football team is set to hold its annual spring game Saturday, April 8 in Roebuck Stadium. It is also ECSU's Vikings Fest week, so we'll have a live DJ on site for entertainment.

Game is slated to begin around 1 p.m. with a variety of drills beginning with individual drills and group drills. The team will perform one on ones as well as give you a full display of the defensive backs versus the receivers; running backs versus the linebackers; and the defensive linemen versus the offensive line.

Half-line or the "Oklahoma" drill will be one of the drills performed as well as a seven-on-seven competition. The spring game event is set to last till 3 p.m., just before the Viking Day Javu that will be held in Roebuck Stadium for ECSU Alumni.
