ECSU Vikings Football Reconvenes Spring Camp

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The Elizabeth City State University football team looks to reconvene its spring camp today in Roebuck Stadium at 3:20 p.m.

The Vikings are anxious to embark on its 2017 football season, after going 5-5 in its first season under named 2016 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Coach of the Year, Earnest Wilson.

The Vikings have several returners from last season’s squad, including starting quarterback Dequan Neal and defensive end Tremayne Sweat. Neal finished last season fourth in passing yards per game with 206.8, fifth in touchdowns with 15, and fifth in rushing touchdowns with 12; while Sweat exhausted last season tied for fourth in sacks with 5.5.

Spring Practices are as follows (dates and times are subject to change):

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Scrimmages on Saturday (3:20-5 p.m. each day)
