ECSU Graduates 16 Student-Athletes during Spring Commencement

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – A total of 16 Elizabeth City State University student-athletes graduated as part of the 2017 spring commencement ceremony Saturday morning at the R. L. Vaughan Center.

The student-athletes represent seven of ECSU's eleven sport programs including; four from softball, four football, four cheer, one women's basketball, two volleyball player, one women’s tennis, one from men's golf, and women’s basketball manager Gabriel Clemons.

Amongst the 16 graduates, Marlee Putnam (Women’s Cross Country – Summa Cum Laude); Dwayne Ponton (Golf –Magna Cum Laude); and Kayla Norfleet (Cheer – Cum Laude) each graduated with honors from their respective degree programs.
